What The ResearchTells Us
Research shows that 75-95% of LGBTQ+ students face some type of negative experience in school, whether it be isolation, bullying, and/or harassment.
Even worse, 60% of those students said they received no support from school staff after reporting such an issue. Live Out Loud’s 360 Experience seeks to address this challenge by creating safe and inclusive school communities via education, conversation, and community coordinated action.

Our Programs
For many attendees, this is often the first time they have an opportunity to ask questions about, and obtain resources on, the LGBTQ+ community in a non-judgmental and safe-space environment. It is our hope that through these opportunities school faculty, student, and parent participants gain a deeper understanding of, and commitment to, LGBTQ+ allyship.

“I really appreciated this PD, I am personally an ally that sometimes feels out of place because I am not a part of the LGBTQ+ community, but this really helped me feel more confident in supporting my LGBTQ+ students."
